COMPETING FOR THE TITLE OF AUSTRALIAN BACHATA CHAMPION
Single Couples Champions Moro and Alegria from Buena Vista Dance
Moro and Alegria met through music and dancing, performing together as dance partners.
They also joined a Cuban Academy -Afro Cuban Express -and now they successfully run the Buena Vista Dance Academy, teaching classes,
performing all over Sydney , running workshops and organising great events such as Latin Organic to promote their Latin culture.

Modus Vivendi 1st Place Team Champions
Modus Vivendi is a Sydney based team of dancers from different schools who have represented Australia at some of the most prestigious congresses around the world and have represented Australia as Australian Champions at the World Salsa Championships 3 years running!

A real crowd pleaser - this young team, who have only been dancing Bachata a few months, came close to stealing the show. An exciting performance
Nestor and Katrina from LDA
Nestor and Katrina are pivotal member of the Modus Vivendi team that went all the way to the finals of the 2006 and 2007 World Salsa
Championships in Las Vegas and Orlando and will be doing so again in 2009. This performance shows incredible flow on the dance floor
as well as spins of such ease and precision. A second place for a silky smooth performance.
Santino & Denisse from Buena Vista Dance
Santino has performed and taught internationally, having been trained in many Latin American countries. Santino is also a previous grand finalist in the official British salsa
championship & merengue championship, & has appeared on UK TV
Robert & Nikolett from Latin Soul
Robert and Nikolett have only been dancing partners for a short time but this performance shows they have a great future
